Rooms need to be updated. Carpet was well worn. The staff were very pleasant however.. The breakfast was adequeate w/cereal, toast and doughnuts w/coffee and juice to drink. The staff was very friendly and courteous and the air conditioning was quiet and worked fabulously! The service was okay no major complaints. There was only one person working the night shift but he did try to assist us.There was no lighting around the pool area. I did mention that to the person on the night shift. The Red Roof Inn is good, clean basic sleeping. Desk staff was very helpful. I was a little worried about the place as I was trying to get a late reservation over Memorial Day weekend. It's great stay, close to the strip but not ON the strip so if you know how to negotiate the back roads (yellow route is close by), you can get around fairly well. It is average or a little above for the condition. Breakfast is a major dissappointment. They use instant coffee which is awful. Selection of continental breakfast food items is unimpressive and they don't keep their ice machines working on each floor.
