Great place to stay

Really liked the hotel and location. Will be going back later in the year. Only criticism was the pool not being open in the morning. Otherwise great hotel with lovely staff! Shame the town is becoming rundown, the low lighting in the shopping area at night made us want to get back to the hotel asap.

Perfect package

Perfect location, just a short walk from the beach and town centre. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, making the stay enjoyable. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with great amenities like an indoor pool. The breakfast was good, the overall experience is excellen.

Nice hotel. Smaller than I expected. Convenient to walk to shops (and Christmas Market) and the main pier. Would stay again.

Hotel was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly. Breakfast was average and had to pay £10 per night car park charge which we did not know about prior to booking. Spa was nice but there was a really loud noise which stopped it being relaxing

We stayed in march with a 15 month old baby. Room was very good, we had one bed next to the wall, so baby was safe not to fall out. Excellent location of the hotel, quiet nights, good food choices for the dinner (steak and burger were especially delicious), also it was quiet during dinner times at both bar and restaurant areas. Water in the main swimming pool was too cold for the baby to go in, but we enjoyed jacuzzi bath. Also our baby had fun watching us play table tennis, American pool and table football. The only downside to mention is our room seemed a bit humid, probably due to some proximity to the sauna. We stayed 5 nights and interacted with different staff members, everyone were extremely polite, friendly and very helpful. Overall it was a very pleasant, relaxing stay, that we enjoyed.

Great friendly hotel

We stayed for a Graduation which was opposite hotel so very convenient. Chargeable car park at rear of hotel was handy. Great fresh cooked to order breakfast. We didn’t eat in the restaurant in evenings but did have a drink in the bar that was nice stylish decorated. Good choice hotel that’s a short walk into town (although a hill to walk up on way back). Nice rooms . Would stay again infact it’s our second stay here.

As a seasoned hotel critic, my recent stay at this hotel presented a stark contrast between enticing online imagery and the uncomfortable reality. While the pictures promised a refreshing escape, the experience was far from it. The supposed "swimming pool" was, in truth, rather a small pond, barely offering more than a dip, certainly not suitable for a proper swim or leisurely relaxation. This significant discrepancy was immediately disappointing. However, the most pressing issue, especially given the recent sweltering temperatures over 30 degrees, was the complete absence of air conditioning. The lone fan provided served only to circulate the heat, transforming the room into an oven-like environment that made rest impossible. For a hotel positioning itself as a comfortable retreat, this oversight is frankly unacceptable. On a positive note, I must commend the staff, who were very friendly and did their best under challenging circumstances. Their cordiality was a welcome touch amidst the discomfort. Regrettably, despite its coastal marketing, the hotel offered no sea views either, further diminishing its allure. When combined with the expensive price point, the overall value proposition becomes severely questionable. In conclusion, while the staff's efforts were appreciated, the fundamental lack of essential amenities like a proper pool and air conditioning, coupled with misleading representations and a steep price, makes it difficult to recommend .
