We enjoyed the Creole style house with a view of the ocean and pool. We generally enjoyed the openness but, as others have said, you should bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper due to the evening noises from bugs, roosters, etc. Bug spray is helpful but the mosquito nets do a great job of keeping bugs away at night. The apartment is a short drive to the major beaches, restaurants, and some nice hikes. The apartment was generally clean. The pool was on the cold side this time of year but nice for a quick dip after a day in the sun. Julie provided some great recommendations for our stay and was very responsive. ##### Dave C. Sans aucun doute la meilleure location que nous avons testĂ©e. Nous reviendrons sans hĂ©siter lors de notre prochain sĂ©jour en Guadeloupe. Excellente communication avant et pendant le sĂ©jour. L'annonce correspond en tout point Ă  la description. Situation de la location idĂ©ale très proche de la plage de Malendure et des ilets pigeons avec la rĂ©serve Cousteau. idĂ©al pour 2 couples d'amis ou famille avec 2 enfants. Chaque chambre Ă  sa propre salle d'eau et sanitaire. Piscine très agrĂ©able. rĂ©sidence au calme avec vue imprenable sur le couchĂ© de soleil sur la mer et les ilets pigeons. Location de haute qualitĂ©, tout y est prĂ©sent permettant de profiter pleinement en se reposer au calme , sous une structure toute en bois de qualitĂ© . Mobilier unique confectionnĂ© avec gout par Romaric qui nous a reçu agrĂ©ablement , en remplaçant Julie qui avait du s'absenter. Nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ© vivre Ă  l'extĂ©rieur ..... cuisine, salle Ă  manger, salon ombragĂ© et bien entendu la piscine avec une vue sur l'ile Pigeon. Chambres et douches (extĂ©rieures) confortables, exotiques... Terrasse et patio, piscine super agrĂ©ables, vraie vue sur la rĂ©serve Cousteau et ilet Pigeon, Ă  la lisière du parc rĂ©gional, dans la verdure, compagnie de colibris venant se dĂ©saltĂ©rer sur la terrasse. Very private location with a stunning view over the Cousteau Reserve and the Pigeon Islands. The home was immaculate with outstanding woodworking throughout built buy Romaric. The location offers easy access to shopping and restaurants by foot or by car. (The hike back up the hill may require a few rest stops). The end of the road up the mountain is the trailhead for a hike up to Boulliante Peak. Awesome forest scenery. Thanks for everything, we will be back. Love, Steve and Jill ##### Steve M.
