Botanischer Garten Tours and Activities

The hotel is well located, breakfast and the restaurant is good and the view is awesome. The room claims to have AC but it didn’t work and made my stay horrible. I was given a small portable fan upon check in, and could barely sleep throughout the week during the heat wave when it 40 Celsius outside.

I was a little worried as it was one of the least expensive hotels I could find in Cologne but I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel is only about an 8 min. walk from the main train station and about a 2-3 minute walk from the Heumarkt where you have many amazing options for meals. We had a courtyard view from our room which was pleasantly quiet so I can't give my opinion on how loud or quiet a street facing room would be. The hotel was very clean and seemed well maintained. The staff were very friendly. If you are a smoker there is a small patio in the courtyard where you can sit. Our room was quite nice especially the bathroom. If I were going to complain about anything it would be that there is no coffee maker in the room and the mini fridge is full of beverages you can buy so if you want to put your own food or drinks in the fridge there really isn't room. I can't give an opinion on breakfast as we went out to eat instead. Overall it was a surprisingly great stay (considering the price per night) and I will gladly stay here again if/when I come back to Cologne!

We had a fabulous stay at this wonderful hotel. The staff were amazing, friendly and fantastically helpful. The breakfast was superb, absolutely loved the breakfasts! The room was lovely, large and great facilities including fridge and coffee machine amongst others. The hotel is near to a tram stop and it is easy to get to the centre of Koln. The walk to the Dom is around 45 minutes. There isnt much in the way of restaurants or bars close by, but a 15 minute walk would find such things. We would definitely stay here again, it was fantastic.
