Kitchen area: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Bedroom 2: Single (3ft) Bed Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet, Grab Rail. Oil central heating and electricity (£35per week, 11th September to 21st May), bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Shared laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and use of freezer. Shared 3-acre gardens with garden furniture. Private parking. Games room with full-size snooker table and darts. Enjoying a lovely peaceful location, these smartly furnished, very comfortable, single storey cottages offer a great place to unwind and relax. Set in three acres of beautiful landscaped grounds with a natural lake they are set around a colourfully planted courtyard and share a large games room with full size snooker table. For the less mobile, a toilet surround and seat raiser is available on request. Set in the village of Leverton - an area renowned for birdlife and nature reserves, there is good walking and cycling on the doorstep and the stunning Lincolnshire Wolds chalk hillside scenery, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with its rolling uplands and quaint unspoilt villages and countryside, is within easy reach. Nearby river boat trips provide a pleasant tranquil way to enjoy the countryside, a nearby farm museum gives a fascinating glimpse into the agricultural past, as do the ancient windmills, whilst the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight revives more recent memories. Skegness, 15 miles, boasts a beautiful stretch of sandy beach, the fun of Fantasy Island and traditional seaside amusements. Inland, Horncastle has a huge array of antique emporiums, and at Woodhall Spa, 15 miles, are the Kinema in the Woods and a lovely outdoor swimming pool. Spalding, famous for its spring flower festival is 20 miles whilst Hunstanton’s seal sanctuary is a little further afield. Lincoln with it’s medieval cobbled streets, lovely cathedral and castle, designer shops and vibrant riverside is 30 miles. Locally shops and inns are 2 miles and historic Boston a short drive. Absolutely fabulous. Wouldn't hesitate to re-book - possibly in autumn/winter to take advantage of the RSPB locations nearby. Lovely hosts, Colin and Gina Ash, fabulous, comfortable and spotlessly clean cottage and, oh, so quiet. Set in beautiful gardens with a duck pond to the rear of the decked areas to the cottages (all private). Could have sat out for hours just enjoying the peace and location. Wonderful full size snooker table (have so much to learn!), darts board and books. Can't wait to go back. Also perfect for my 85 year old mum who has mobility issues.
