The Blue Ridge Mountain Club is an upscale, gated mountain community with thousands of acres of pristine land, over 40 miles of hiking, walking, biking, and UTV trails. There is a safe, fun swimming hole and over 64 miles of private fishing streams and creeks. The Chetola Sporting Preserve offers trap and sporting clay shooting, a pistol range, an archery range, and a rifle range. Enjoy a guided trap shooting adventure on a 13-station course. Book a guided fly fishing trip on the private waters. The Ascent Wellness & Fitness Center, adjacent to the condos, has state-of-the-art equipment, yoga facilities, exercise studios, facilitated fitness classes, and much more. The center is available to our guests during staffed hours at $10 per day. Adjacent to the Fitness Center is the new Lookout Grill, a casual restaurant with an indoor/outdoor bar open to the breathtaking mountain views, just a short walk from the condo. The restaurant and bar are available seasonally, and hours will change based on the time of year. Please check for updated hours and information. The Watson Gap Village Jasper House is a stunning gathering place with a huge fireplace and comfy furniture. Open the big wall facing the views, and create a unique indoor/outdoor venue. The Fire Garden just outside in Watson Gap Village boasts numerous fire features and fire pits - both propane and wood-burning - for guests to enjoy. Its common lawn and courtyard have lots of comfortable outdoor furniture to relax while enjoying the endless views and a large, level manicured lawn for outdoor fun. The Watson Gap Village offers plenty of room inside and out to enjoy time with family and friends and meeting new friends. The nearby Watson Gap Pavilion offers another social gathering place with an outdoor fireplace, a grilling/barbecuing station, and facilities for guest comfort. The Watson Gap Pavilion is a wonderful place for impromptu gatherings as well as planned events. It hosts more than 20 social events every year and is available for weddings and other special occasions. There is also an Events Lawn which hosts numerous large events, concerts, and more as it can accommodate hundreds of people at one time. The staff at Blue Ridge Mountain Club are second to none. They have been an asset that has heightened the ownership experience and our guests' experience and have been excellent partners to work with for our staff at Carolina Cabin Rentals. This Blue Ridge Mountain Club Condo is an upscale 2-bedroom/2-bathroom condo close to Blowing Rock, Boone, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The condo is a one-level top-floor residence with "zero-step" elevator access, making this truly handicap-accessible. The unit has an open floor plan with wide hallways, an open dining area with a banquet-style dining table, a great room with a comfy linen sofa and leather armchairs, a gas fireplace, a Bose stereo, and a large HDTV. The kitchen is a chef's delight with quartz counters, stainless appliances, a gas cooktop, and a huge center island with additional barstool seating. The kitchen has a Keurig coffee machine as well as a regular coffee maker. There are long-range views from all of the areas mentioned above. The master suite has a king bed, towering ceilings, a large HDTV, a comfy leather armchair, and a private ensuite bathroom. The master suite also has a private, open-air deck with comfortable outdoor seating. The second bedroom is a queen with an HDTV and has private access to the second full bathroom, also accessible from the hall through a second door. The great room sofa can sleep an extra person. However, it is not a pullout. A nice air mattress in the closet can be set up and used for additional sleeping. The large covered deck off of the living room offers panoramic mountain views, a large stainless grill with hood/fan, an outdoor dining table and chairs, and a relaxed, three-sided-sectional outdoor sofa, from which guests can enjoy the mountain views and breezes. A propane fire table in the center of the outdoor sofa can be used as a standard coffee table, or remove the flat lid and light the fire for a warm and intimate evening fire. The Craig Building itself has a common parlor on the main floor and a more intimate sitting area upstairs, both of which are yours to share with the other eight residences within. Please note: This condo is part of a shared-wall community and has quiet hours after 9:00 pm (Sunday - Thursday) and 11:00 pm (Friday - Saturday). Please consider your group needs and plans to be sure they fit within these parameters. The view was spectacular. Bed was very comfortable. A few changes could have made it perfect. Couch and chairs in living room are uncomfortable and kitchen was not equipped for a long stay (we were there for three weeks). Simple things like matching wine glasses do not seem unreasonable. A stick vacuum or a hand held would have helped us keep everyone clean. There were no cleaning supplies. Available vacuum was very heavy to handle. Stocking the pantry with essentials (e.g., oil) would have been appreciated. Renters should know that it takes 20-25 minutes on winding roads to get to Boone and 3.5 miles from gate to condo. ##### Anita E. The location was shown to be at the intersection of 421 and 321 in Boone, NC. The online information indicated that it was a 2 minute WALK to the ASU Campus . It turned out to be a 50 minutes DRIVE to the Campus over difficult roads. It was not even in the city of Boone. Would appreciate an apology and correction of information. ##### Ralph M. Nice furnishings and ample equipment in the kitchen should you choose to prepare meals. Although maps say it is 8 miles to Boone, it took 30 minutes to get there. Property was in a gated community and @ 10-15 min from town(that’s what we wanted) with beautiful Mountain View’s. Our only complaint was in the 2nd bedroom, the bed was very uncomfortable and family members had to sleep on couch-please get new mattress or thick topper and we will be back for sure. ##### Ann Marie M. Views are amazing and the property itself is spacious and comfortable. Wonderful relaxing place to retreat in the mountains. Be ready for lots of mountain driving! There is a pin on the listing that shows it close to the center of Boone. Just know it isn't - but it isn't far out either. ##### Karen D. Check in and out were super easy. Loved having a code. We played pickle ball, bocce, and ate at the restaurant. Restaurant is right across the parking lot and REALLY good. Views are incredible from condo but also everywhere on the property. Condo is clean, well equipped, and was very comfortable for our family of 4\. From the community gate it is about 10-15 minutes to the condo. We were there for a soccer tournament so it was about 25 minutes from the fields, not bad at all but you wouldn't have wanted to go back and forth a lot. Once you are up there it is nice to stay up there and not go back to town a bunch. We can't wait to go back! ##### Sarah M. The condo has a large back porch with a tremendous view of the mountains, and comfy sectional. The condo community has many amenities which we took full advantage: ATV rental, pickle ball and fabulous spa (massage & facials)! The onsight restaurant was excellent, even had live music one night. Great trails for hiking. Felt remote, but only 20 minutes to either downtown Blowing Rock or Boone. Highly recommend. Planning on coming back again-WORTHY! ##### Loren L. The outdoor space was the star!!! We had the most amazing and relaxing time over the weekend., even used the gym. The condo is very nice with a great, picturesque balcony and most of the amenities from home. Just keep in mind that the resort is actually closer to Blowing Rock than to downtown Boone. However, it's remoteness is part of it's charm. We saw so many deer everytime that we drove in and out as well as wild turkeys. ##### Jason W. It was absolutely amazing. The space was perfect for our family and the views were magnificent. We loved sitting outside on the porch with the fireplace. Upon arrival, we discovered the two lp tanks were out but they quickly brought us replacements. The gas cook top was lovely as well as the other appliances. My wife's only wish was there were more utensils to choose from. We had to bother the neighbor for a can opener. The on-site amenities are so nice! We loved the restaurant and outdoor seating area with the fire pits. The workout facility was top notch! I wish we would have read more about it and brought our workout clothes. The gals that work there were so helpful and friendly. My wife had a facial from Lori and said it was one of the best she has ever experienced. The Cheotoa Lodge for clay shooting was perfect. I only wish we could have rented a UV but no one ever returned our calls. This place is 15 minutes up and down hills so I would highly recommend gong to the grocery store and then plan on staying put and enjoying the environment.
