Not far from trails for ATV and snowmobile riders Eganville is home of the Bonnechere cup snowmobile races! Around 30 min to skiing and cross country. Tennis court near by along with a community centre! Jays ice cream- open in summer! Close to Eganville centennial park , McRae look out park (for viewing the river) and legion memorial field with sports and curling centre. Farmers market in the summer every Friday 2-5 pm. Eganville is also known as the Ordovician Fossil Capital of Canada. There are many fossils to be found in this area from approximately 500 million years ago.
