There is no ice machine as they have shut it off for the season and there is no hot water. It's apparent that they have put a lot of work into it, but it's also apparent that it is an older establishment and could really use some additional TLC. The room was clean and comfortable, and the lady who was working there when I arrived was awesome to work with! The WIFI was decent as well which was important to me because I was on a business trip. It's not luxurious by any stretch of the imagination and it's not in the best part of town, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. And if you want amazing Mexican food, the restaurant, Dos Caminos, which is part of the samy building, was AMAZING! Some of the best street tacos and shrimp cocktail I have had in a long time!
