"Just leaving after an amazing 7-day stay at Emerald Faaufushi. As a solo traveler here to celebrate my 50th birthday, the staff here made me feel so special, from my amazing villa host Tharif to the exceptional food and beverage team, receptionist, housekeeping, etc. This was truly a dream trip, and I cannot wait to come back. I stayed in a sunset overwater bungalow (327) which was exceptional. I could hear the ocean constantly, and having my own sun deck and pool was so worth the splurge. The food at all of the restaurants was incredible - my birthday dinner was at Carnivorous and the team there sang happy birthday and brought me a cake! The weather was much better than I expected - windy but I had 5 great days of sunshine. I used the gym four days of my trip and it was small but nicely appointed. I also enjoyed two spa days - again, exceptional staff and experiences. I can’t recommend this resort enough! Thank you all for making this a dream trip! Hope to see you again soon!"
"Standard is an exceptional experience. Friendly competent staff, good restaurants and well organized experiences. The reef is beautiful with many fish and the dive centre has several activities. The DJ adds a nice vibe for music enthusiasts."
"Stunning hotel with great facilities. The water villa was immaculately cleaned daily with an extra turn down service at night which was nice. Mini bar stocked with wine, beer and soft drinks. Would have been nice to have a choice of red or white wine and have the option to change some of the soft drinks for extra beers. Seaplane transfer was great is though a little hot to start with. The only things that I would say that let it down was the mis communication regarding our pick up as no one was there to greet us and some of the pool staff where not always on the ball but this didn't help with the fact that they did seem short staffed. The person in charge of towels was hardly ever there and had to get our own. Had 3 speciality meals, one in The Village which was lovely, the third night in Mizu which was just ok as the meals were very salty. The last night was in Ampersand and this was amazing especiallywith food as well as service. I would definitely recommend the hotel "

"My experience at the resort felt special from the moment I booked. The team stayed in touch through WhatsApp and answered every question with patience and warmth. When my outbound flight was cancelled, Husaam from reservations went above and beyond, offering to move my dates even after the cancellation window, which gave me huge peace of mind.
Arriving by seaplane was magical, and being welcomed with a cold cocktail set the tone. My host Kun was incredible — she organised all of our restaurant bookings, sorted excursions, and even found us a new room immediately when our air‑con failed. She genuinely cared about making our stay perfect.
Our lagoon villa was beautiful, and housekeeping was consistently great, with Adam leaving us a lovely handmade anniversary message. Across the resort, the staff made us feel like royalty and friends at the same time. The superstars who truly made our stay unforgettable were Shinnu, Viaam, Rose, Sumit, Shush, Gabriel, Ruwan, Salta, Lavino, Afey, Ravi, Nasif, and Venera.
Entertainment was a joy thanks to the multi‑talented Vera, who seemed to do everything from yoga to evening shows, and Rina, who was equally warm and engaging. Meals were consistently delicious, especially breakfast thanks to chef Supan. The reef, the trips, and the whole atmosphere made the stay feel dreamy. I left wishing I’d booked a few more nights — it was the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion, and I’d happily return."
"Our stay in Furaveri Resort was wonderful from the moment we arrived in Male. They arranged to meet us and took us to the seaplane along with our luggage. Every detailed was so meticulously planned. I can honestly say all the staff were very friendly from the manager, waiters, cleaners and groundsmen. They looked after us so well. The food was excellent, great spa treatment and sports facilities."
"Reethi Faru is a true beauty with an unspoilt feel. There are tall palms, lush vegetation, colourful flowers, and a powdery ribbon of white sand around the whole island. Everything is well kept and very clean. Staff is welcoming and friendly, they are a great asset to the resort. My garden villa was of a generous size, loved the comfy large bed and the half-open bathroom. Food was of high standard consistently, the buffet was really varied and plentiful.
The island provides a good balance between serenity and being active and bit more social, can do both. There are quiet spots, but also activities on offer.
Personal highlights were the incredible spa - very high quality treatments and professional therapists at this beautiful facility - and the manta ray snorkelling trip.
I do hope to be back some day! And in the meantime, absolutely recommend to visit, it’s just the right place for a wonderful Maldivian experience. "
"Absolutely fantastic stay- we were met at Male airport and looked after to our flight to Ifuru Island which is outstanding. All the staff looked after us with extreme courtesy and were extremely welcoming. Everywhere was very clean and cared for and the food very variable and to a high standard. Snorkelling was amazing we saw fish/stingrays/reef sharks/turtles/ resident heron. On our return we were met again at Male airport and looked after and helped to check in for our flight home. Cannot recommend this Island strongly enough !
ALL the staff were very dedicated and very hard working and so sorry can’t remember everyone’s names but very much felt a warm/friendly/family atmosphere. Shout out to:
Monika, Tharaka, Sara, Diva, Donni, manager of waterfront(sorry don’t know name), Shiyaau, Basse, Pradeeb, Shiva, Raazan, Juli, Ahmed, Fraish (sorry if spelt wrong - captain of Komomo) thank you to everyone for a very special holiday
