This beautiful cottage is one of three nestled in peaceful garden surrounds. It started life as a barn and retains many of its original features. It has a completely open plan and very spacious living room with a wood burner, large sofas, a well equipped kitchen and French doors that lead out to the sun drenched courtyard. The two attractive bedrooms have rustic features which will delight as will the bathroom and ensuite shower-room. We have an EV charging point available by prior arrangement which provides a convenient and cost effective way to charge your electric vehicle. Details available on request. The owners were on site if needed but left you in peace, just checking all was ok when you arrived. The welcome cream tea was lovely to find waiting on the side. It was nice to see the Donkeys and Goats and even feed them. The cottage was in a good position to visit most attractions about 25 mins from the coast either way. The welcome scones, milk and water was a lovely gesture. I hadn’t realised how rural it was and it took some time to get used to the narrow country lanes. My only criticism is that it would be useful to have a bigger freezer (it’s only a tiny compartment within the fridge), you can’t even fit a pizza in. The kitchen is well equipped but could have done with a few more dinner plates. But it was nice to have washing up liquid, tea towels, bin bags and dishwasher tablets already provided.
