Come and enjoy this beautiful mountain cabin perfectly located between Boone and Blowing Rock on Appalachian Ski Mountain! With 2 living areas, amazing panoramic mountain views from almost every room, privacy and convenience to town, this is sure to be your new hideaway destination! And great news - if 1 Amazing View is taken for your dates, please consider our sister home right next door: 1 Beautiful View! It offers the same layout and views! The main level has an open kitchen, living room, and dining area with cathedral ceilings and beautiful mountain views through the wall of windows. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of space and newly upgraded stainless steel appliances. Coffee lovers will enjoy being able to use either the classic drip-style maker or the Keurig machine! The dining area boasts views from all seats. The living room features very comfortable furniture arranged around a gas-log stone fireplace with a 40-Inch HDTV and DVD player and Home Theater Surround Sound. There is also a half bath off the kitchen. A master suite is on the main level, featuring a King bed as well as a private bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub with tiled shower. Step out onto the spacious wrap-around deck furnished with a dining table and Adirondacks and enjoy the awe-inspiring mountain views. A gas grill is positioned just off the deck. The lower level contains a second living area with 42-Inch Flat Panel cable TV, a deck with a wonderful hot tub and great views, a bedroom with a King bed and separate entrance to the deck, a bedroom with 2 twin beds, and a shared full bathroom with a jacuzzi tub with tiled shower between the bedrooms. Whether you're coming for an ASU football game, outdoor activities, a family vacation, or just to get away from it all, Amazing View is convenient to it all High Country shops. The Story Behind the Name I grew up in Virginia, among the expansive views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Actually, I thought everyone looked out their bedroom window across a sea of blue and purple ridges we called mountains. Then I married my husband and spent fifteen years in the plains of the mid-west. It's been such a mercy to come home to the mountains, this time in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. When we found this property it was hemmed in by trees. No one quite knew what view of the mountains lay hidden behind. Being such mountain lovers ourselves, we take great pleasure in offering you a 180 degree view of the Blue Ridge. On a clear day you can count 13 ridges, clear up the New River Valley. As the sun sets, you can watch the light play off these beautiful, ancient mountains--a view that can take your breath away. You can see the skiers come down Appalachian Ski Mountain out the dining room window in the winter. The name, 1 Amazing View, truly fits this home. After you've enjoyed all that Blowing Rock has to offer, 1 Amazing View is a home where you can sit on the porch and drink in scenery that restores the soul. \- Stacy & Paula, homeowners \- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. House was very clean and well stocked do we ate all our meals at the house. we like that. Beds were very comfortable which is so important! The view from the porch was gorgeous in spite if the not very good weather which was the only disappointment. But we would return to this property again- close proximity to things we wanted to do very cozy with a nice fireplace and comfortable seating. The only misleading part was that the property was listed as “pet friendly” but the truth was the dog had to be under 20 lbs! not our dog, and we had specific slly searched pet friendly houses. ##### Diane W. We were skiing, so the VERY close proximity to Appalachian Ski Mountain was great, and we were also able to very easily get into downtown Blowing Rock. The house was clean and as described. The views were incredible! The only thing I will say that is inaccurate on the listing, is the "walking distance" to Appalachian Ski Mountain. They may need to re-word this. As advertised, the view of the Blue Ridge Mountains was spectacular from the living room and both decks. The cabin layout was perfect, as it allowed space for my husband and me to have a beautiful bedroom suite upstairs, while my daughter and her friend each had a bedroom and separate living room area downstairs. They loved the foosball table and hot tub! Upstairs, the gas log fireplace and large smart tv made for a very cozy, extremely relaxing environment to watch our favorite football matchups! The location is outstanding! 10-15 minutes from downtown Blowing Rock. We went into town several times for dinner and shopping. Very close to Boone, Banner Elk, Beech Mt, and other great spots, as well. Just a fabulous cabin in a beautiful part of the state! We’ll be back! ##### Dodie R. Great proximity to Boone and downtown Blowing Rock. The views from the balcony were amazing as well. Our only small complaint is that the downstairs carpet needs to be cleaned. Either the owners or previous rentals had a pet and the carpet smelled a bit like urine. Otherwise this place is amazing and we’ll definitely be back! ##### Elyssa J. It had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay for our family of four. The beds and linens were comfortable and the view! The view was amazing! We could see skiers coming down the slope from the kitchen and the wrap around deck. The views of the beautiful mountains and the tiny lights from far away houses dotting the mountains at night, were the icing on the cake. The hot tub was so nice on a cold winter evening. This house is in a nice neighborhood on a looped, walkable street. Good for dog walking. 1 Amazing View was perfect! We would definitely rent this cabin again! We felt very comfortable and the house had everything we needed to make the perfect mini vacation. My parents enjoyed watching our daughter play in the snow and we spent some time trying to identify the different animal tracks in the snow that were placed overnight.
