Blakemere Village Tours and Activities

Lovely apartment (suite 1) at the Black Boy Inn. I traveled with my adult son and the apartment was spacious enough for the two of us, with separate sleeping areas and adequate cooking facilities. What would have been even better is if my son’s bed had been made (he had the double sofa bed). I had to request linen and we made it ourselves. We cooked our own breakfasts and dinners and could have done with an oven dish and an extra frying pan. The shower could do with a door so the entire bathroom doesn’t get flooded. Also not very soundproof and nearby pubs clearly like to play loud bassy music until gone midnight, which will be an issue for some. No parking on site but public car parks available nearby. In fairness, these are all small things which wouldn’t put me off staying here again. Well worth considering if planning to visit North Wales, Caernarfon being a great location for Snowdon, Anglesey, Llandudno etc.

A very friendly and welcoming hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful. We will certainly be back.

Super property but only issue we had was the room temperature. So hot. Heating was not on in the room but was in the bathroom. Even with the window open didn't make much of a difference. What it would be like in the summer!
