We stayed in room 20 outside the door is a flight of stairs so don't drink before going to bed cos if you stumble at the door you have a long way down to go and probably won't live to tell the tale, breakfast was horrendous, had to go to kitchen ask for bacon and eggs as there was none left in buffet trays took them ages to bring more out no one came to check if trays needed filling, hotel had a weird smell, beds were hard as rock didn't have no sleep bed hurt my back only stayed the night thank god, won't stay again
Starting with the positives, bedsheets and toilet were clean. Now for negatives, carpet was absolutely filthy. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Toilet seat not on properly, Fan had collected so much dust we could barely feel it blowing. The vanity stool had a wonky leg. two of the drawers had rubbish inside of them. The blind was missing part of it so it let a lot of light in. Carpet was stained & threadbare in places. Breakfast was just about ok. Pictures on the internet are dated & do not reflect the actual look of building or rooms.
The hotel isnt clean enough.it needs a good clean.skirting boards, getting the hoover into corners, cleaning dirty finger prints of glass ect.would look fine if it was painted.the walls are to dirty. The carpets look old.funny smell apone entering. The guy on the desk was nice and pleasent.showing us to our room. The beds looked clean, though we never checked under the covers. The bath, shower and toilet were very clean though the toilet seat was hanging off.Again the skirting boards in the room were not clean and the walls need a good wash down .we both knew we wouldnt be happy staying there so we didnt. We left straight away and booked in someware else. This hotel has great potential. It just needs to be painted and kept clean to a high standard.I wasted my hard earned money booking this but the hotel reminds me of a homeless hostal.
