Like most older homes in Bisbee, this home is quaint with several modern updates thoughtfully made by the previous owners. A covered screened porch greets guests as they make their way back from the adventures of the day. As you enter the home an eclectic blend of modern meets vintage. The kitchen provides all you need to prepare a 4 star meal... if you brought along, or are a 4 star chef. Keurig, toaster, microwave and Cuisinart cookware will help make your stay more practical. Both bedrooms are equipped with a full bed each. Not a queen. Both beds are full beds. The beds came from Aunt Cissie's boarding house out of Kokomo Colorado (no longer in existence). Aunt Cissie's sister, Helen, was the mother of Clarence Malley, a one time Police Chief here in Bisbee. The bathroom features a granite countertop and a walkin shower, sorry no clawfoot tub, but just as effective. But it is far too easy to have the door shut and lock behind you. I locked myself out with my phone containing the lengthy door code inside. Lesson: print the code out and leave a copy in your wallet or car or both until you get it memorized. Place is very clean and functional, conveniently in Bisbee! This is a perfect spot at the right price. The door lock is VERY tempermental though, and due to so many attempts, (enough that it became quite frustrating) the batteries were dying on us. It advertises that it has two queen size beds. It actually has two double beds so that did not work as well for us. The blinds in the back room are not room darkening. Which made it difficult to sleep in and the two back doors that go out to the backyard had about a 16th of an inch base between them, so it was very cold in that room.
