This loft offers all the historic charm with beautiful original wood floors and the perfect mix of designer inspired decor. This is the spot you want to stay for all your visits to the Magic City! We are centrally located downtown just a short walk to several award-winning restaurants, parks, stadiums, grocery, and nightlife. This loft offers the charm of an early 1900's building with exposed brick and beautifully restored original hardwood floors. We took over 18 months to professionally remodel the entire building and have it elegantly designed to be an experience for each guest. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower. Tvs are included in the living and each bedroom! Luxury linens and down comforters with high thread count duvets that are changed between every guest. Both bathrooms have been completely redone for the most delightful aesthetic and spa feel. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher, stainless steel sink, refrigerator, toaster, and a Keurig is provided with a variety of k-cups (sugar and cream). There's free WiFi! A washer and dryer are available in the loft for your convenience with detergent. If you forget your toiletries at home, don't worry! We supply mini shampoo and conditioner. Multi-streaming smart tvs, loft style bedrooms with high-quality queen mattresses and easy-to-access closet. There's the nightly rate for 1 guest and each guest after is $10/per night. Access to the entire loft, no shared living space. No keys to lose or to return! This property provides secure, keyless entry with Smart lock. You can unlock the door with your personal entry code issued to you for the duration of your stay. The door immediately locks after you close it shut. You can access the loft any time after 3pm, which is check-in time, by using the Smart Lock. We ask that you respect our home and the quiet hours of the community. Our home is not baby-proofed, and may not be ideal for families with very small children, however, children are welcome at your own discretion. Please be careful when staying with younger children. There are stairs inside the unit. However, there is a door/barrier between the unit and the stairs, for the safety of your children. No events without expressed permission in advance. The outside patio provides a beautiful view, but is not meant for parties. We know how much you love your furry pets, so we wanted to make our unit accessible to you. They must always be on a leash outside your unit, throw waste into the trash bin outside and not inside your unit (tie it up in a bag), must be potty trained, no loud barking, flea or tick free, must stay in kennel when you leave the unit, and not allowed on the couch or guest bed. The fee for each pet is $60. We pride ourselves for having an impeccable reputation for offering an upscale experience and have a zero-tolerance policy for parties or gatherings. The number of people inside the loft may not exceed the reserved guest amount at any time. We hope to keep a very accommodating experience for all our guests, but if removal is required, it will be done at the guest's expense. The decor was adorable and very well done. The location was convenient to the venue and restaurants. There are definitely the sounds of the city at all hours but they include sound machines which were a nice touch. The noises are expected when staying in a city. We had plenty of space to relax and temperature was easily controlled. The owners provided dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, and bathroom supplies. Not an issue but if you want complete peace and quiet, you would be disappointed. That said, it is in an urban setting so you cannot expect total peace and quiet. Oh and after charging me $10/per family member per night they still didn’t stock even enough coffee for all of us for the whole stay we paid for per person. Overall property was fine, we spotted a few ants in the kitchen - it’s a very old building, in moderately good shape otherwise. Not recommended for families with small children or people with mobility issues. Excellent location, surprisingly walkable and centrally located. Jul 11, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Good communication We were in town for a baseball tournament. The check-in process was very efficient and our hosts provided great communication. The property was as pictured, clean and beautifully decorated. It was a central location and within 30 minutes of the Hoover Met Complex and local high schools we played at. The only downside was the ac controlled temp. It is locked and won’t go below 70 degrees. We were hot and luckily had our fans from the games that we used to cool down the back room. The location is in the old automotive district and within the last years I read is being re-vamped with new businesses and residential construction. At night it is kind of desolate and street racers could be heard outside racing cars and police chasing with sirens. Also, the apartment sits above a vape/smoke shop. I could smell faint aromas and think it was coming from below. Also, one night there was random construction in the empty storefront with construction saws and hammering that lasted an hour. We contacted the host and they were very apologetic and spoke with the landlord below. We didn’t hear any other construction the remaining of the stay.
