The temperature was in the high 80s-low 90s, but the AC kept the cabin very comfortable. Everything was very clean. Brent was very easy to reach and responded quickly to any messages. The house is very well-appointed, with a coffee maker that was welcome in the chilly mornings and the creek going by for the warmer afternoons (living room gets warm, so outside walk after lunch is highly recommended). We saw elk, wood ducks, and other brightly colored varieties of ducks. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, and kitchen was well-stocked. We enjoyed our time so much that we canceled a planned outing in order to enjoy the property more. Though the weather was lovely during our stay, it would have been just as enjoyable in the rain or cold because the big picture windows are perfectly situated. We stayed at the cabin for six nights, and everything was great. We wanted to hike in the Gifford Pinchot forest, so this was a great location for day hikes. The owner was easy to work with and the house was very clean and the beds were comfortable.
