Big Red Barn Event Center Tours and Activities

Our bed linens were dirty. One pillow had makeup on the back of it and there were hairs on the fitted bed sheet. The air conditioner rattled like a chainsaw as it cycled through. There was a shooting at 3am next door. A woman was screaming as she left the room and threatened to "shoot up this whole place". POP POP POP POP. My husband and I were terrified. I was so exhausted, though, I fell back asleep in a rest less sleep. The shower's tap had lukewarm water at best, but ironically, the faucet tap was boiling. The containers of shampoo and body wash inside the shower were empty. The paneling and grout in the bathroom and sleeping area were cracked, peeled, and damaged. Not appealing at all. To top it off, HOUSEKEEPING greeted us with a fireman's knock early in the morning to make sure we didn't get to sleep in at all. Overall, a 1 out of 5 stars simply because the door locked and there was running water. Not worth the price at all. Front desk staff was very nice, but almost in an apologetic way. It's as if they knew their place was a dump and they felt bad about us having to stay there.
