From the outside the hotel looked a bit old and we were nervous when we drove up. The owners have tried to renovate the rooms but they used Amazon faucets and showerhead that are cheap. The stove had to be 25+ years old. Key things to know before you visit... -This is a small motel, I think maybe 10 rooms. -The location is good in relation to the West Yellowstone entrance. It takes about 15-20 minutes to drive to West Yellowstone. -Check In is truly at 4pm, do NOT arrive a minute earlier. Their lobby is locked and they won't let you in until 4pm. -The rooms are clean, we felt comfortable with the cleanliness. - The beds are pretty comfortable but pillows are like sleeping on nothing, so I recommend bringing your own. - The showerhead is very low, if you are over 5'6" showering may be a little challenging. The water pressure is also not so good, so women with thick hair, it takes a while to rinse your hair. - The view is SPECTACULAR, you can't beat the lake views.

For the price, there should be more amenities. No fridge No coffee pot No Water refill station No cable Small room Emma employee was great Breakfast was great Property is charming

We were given a room that backed to a trailer park. It was extremely loud outside and didn’t feel safe with that many people right outside our window. The walls are extremely thin and you can hear every step about you. Cleaning staff knocked on our door at 8:30am although checkout wasn’t until 10am. Also checkin staff were rude and mocked booking through a 3rd party such as Hotels.com. I would not recommend this hotel. Pool and restaurant were the best part.

The place was great. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was awesome. I definitely suggest getting the breakfast there. It’s nice to be at a hotel where people serve you and clean up the tables that was very helpful with two little kids. My only issue was that the AC unit didn’t seem to be working and the microwave had a little to no power. Other than that, the property was great it was in a great location and the parking was y as well. The beds and pillows were super comfortable and the blankets were actually nice blankets not the cheap blankets. You usually see at hotels there’s no conditioner in the shower so make sure you bring conditioner if you use it. Good choice if you have a little kids as there is a playground right across the street that has stuff for all ages.
