Missvisande bilder på detta ”trestjärniga” boende... Enormt sunkigt rum med silverfiskar i badrummet, handdukar som luktar unket och blod på en av kuddarna. Jag höll tummarna för att slippa se kackerlakor. Man fick säga till om varmt vatten till duschen. Tur att personalen ens var där då, eftersom de sällan syntes till i receptionen. Reste med 11-årig son och blev rekommenderad ett rum med ”stor” dubbelsäng som skulle räcka för oss bägge. Den var 1.40 och vi trängdes i ett hål i mitten, där man gled ner på den nerslitna madrassen. Läget annars helt ok mellan gamla Östberlin och västliga delen med Kurfürstendamm mm. Vi älskar Berlin, men andrig mer Hotels.com med denna typ av missvisande erbjudanden. Det är bra att ni erbjuder boenden över hela bekvämlighets- och prisskalan, men då måste ni vara ärliga och tydliga med vad man har att vänta. ”Billligt hostel med hyfsat läge i Berlin, lämpligt för backpackers och studenter, inte så lämpligt för familjer med krav på bekvämlighet och renlighet” - voilá, en beskrivning som skulle passa bra. We checked in towards the later end of the check-in window, and never received the WiFi information. A little while later when I realized the woman who gave me the key never gave me the sign on information, I went out to the hall, but no one was around to help me, nor did anyone respond when I emailed, messaged, or called. There was also not any hot water. It ran for about 90 seconds, then never came back, even the next day when I tried to shower. Glad we only stayed one night. The room was decent, had high ceilings, so for a small room, it didn’t feel claustrophobic. No elevator, probably best for a solo traveler. Minha estadia foi muito insatisfatória. Começando pela recepção, prédio com a porta toda rabiscada, dando muito má impressão. Momento nenhum falei com alguma pessoa responsável pelo lugar. First of all I left the heater on and went out. 3 hours later I returned and the room was as cold as I couldn't imagine. That's when I realised the heater didn't work! And of course the owners were not available. In the morning before I left for my flight wanted to take a shower but to my shock the water was ice cold. Even after letting if flow for a couple of minutes. I must say I didn't enjoy my stay and I feel I didn't get my money's worth. I feel I was cheated. Also the pictures displayed on their profile are totally different from the way the rooms look. Desværre er der rigtig mange trapper, hvilket besværliggjorde opholdet for mig, der er bevægelseshandicappet. Selv indtil mit badeværelse var der trapper. Derudover var værelset ekstremt lille, lydt, mørkt og koldt på trods af, at det var smukt, og man havde forsøgt at gøre det venligt med kunstige roser og håndklædet foldet som en svane. WIFI-forbindelsen var nærmest ikke-eksisterende. Af personalet var der kun én, der var venlig og imødekommende, men stedet er alligevel kun bemandet fem timer om dagen. Rengøring er ikke inkluderet i prisen, men koster 8 Euro om dagen, hvis man ønsker at få gjort rent, til gengæld var køkkenet fint og nemt at bruge med alt nødvendigt udstyr og desuden flittigt brugt af samtlige gæster. Med andre ord var der ting ved stedet, som jeg vældig godt kunne lide, medens andre var virkelig dårlige. ##### Lise Stayed 4 nights in Oct 2018 ### 6/10 Okay #### Marianne Aug 13, 2018 Liked: Cleanliness Disliked: Staff & service, room comfort #### Sehr durchschnittlich, höchstens 2 Sterne Großes Plus: Das Gästehaus liegt sehr zentral, 2 U-Bahnstationen fußläufig (90 m bzw. 200 m), es erschien mir wie eine riesige umgebaute Altbauwohnung. Das eigene Bad (wenn auch klein) war zweckmäßig, alles funktionierte einigermaßen zufriedenstellend. Das Zimmer war sauber, Handtücher konnten eigenständig täglich gewechselt werden. Auch die Küche war zugänglich, ich habe sie jedoch nicht genutzt. Minus: Ich habe außer am Ankunftstag ( ich blieb 3 Nächte) weder andere Gäste noch jemanden sonst vom Hotel jemals zu Gesicht bekommen. Die Rezeption sollte zwar für 5 Stunden am Tag besetzt sein, wenn niemand kam, wurden aber andere Arbeiten wie z.B. Bügeln verrichtet. Das Zimmer wurde nur gegen Aufpreis gesäubert, bei 3 Sternen ist dies m.E. ein Ding der Unmöglichkeit. Das Zimmer lag zum Innenhof, in dem leider bis spät abends gearbeitet und auch geraucht wurde. Der Rauch zog sehr unangenehm ins Zimmer hinein. If you are looking for a cheap hotel that is one step above a hostel, is clean and in a good location then this is a good choice. However... things to keep in mind: The hotel is only staffed 1-6pm. If you arrive after 6pm (we arrived after midnight) you pick your keys up from the kebab takeaway two doors down. The room is not as roomy as the one in the pic. It was big enough for two daybeds and therefore big enough for us (we slept there but were out all day) but its not roomy. Similarly the bathroom involved working out how to move round it ie being able to open the door involved squeezing round the sink so if you're quite large or have mobility issues this may be less than ideal.The shower was also about 2 feet higher then the floor and involved quite a clamber up into it.
