What we like : - It’s a nice hotel with plenty of art work & localized in a beautiful & natural place - Their breakfast is good and we like what we ate at their restaurant. - There are great amenities for kids : kids room, playground, outdoor chess… It’s a nice place for families. What we don’t like : - Swimming pool was too cold. - Our room was very dark. It’s a pity for a suite. - And the main pain point was the staff which was very unhelpful : no advice regarding the area or the hotel : they gave us the keys, that’s it. They did’nt help us for finding a bike adapted to the size of our son or to charge our car… It’s a pity.

The cozy rooms are on the small side but clean and comfortable. We forgot to tell the hotel about that one of us had a disability moving (ok with normal stairs) so we got a room with a lot of steep tiny stairs (very cozy and cool if you don’t have a disability). The breakfast was amazing. The spa area was nice. Very nice staff

The single room is really small. I stayed Mo to Fr and there was not much space for my stuff. I guess for 1 night it is ok, if you plan to stay longer chose a bigger room!

The hotel is tucked away in Bergen, which is a very beautiful little high-end village near Alkmaar, The Netherlands. We stayed only for one night -- 17 hours to be precise -- as part of a larger group gathering. The group dinner was held at the hotel, and it was outstanding and highly recommended. Staff are nice. We had booked a room for two persons. Our room clean and with two windows overlooking a beautiful courtyard, but it was rather small -- about two feet on one side of a queen-size bed and a three-feet-band passage on the other sides -- with rather minimalistic furnishings and space. We had no room and place to put our luggage or unpack the immediate necessities. If we stay there again, we will definitely urge for a larger room.

We stayed for two nights in a terrace room expecting a tranquil forest retreat, but it was anything but relaxing weekend. Room 1009 is opposite the indoor pool, so noise from children continued past 23:00 and started again around 7:00. Pool cleaning began at 6:20, and hallway vacuuming shortly after 7:00 added to the disturbance. The hotel is clean, but the atmosphere feels like a youth hostel/water park. The minimalistic room décor resembles a university dorm, and bathrobes cost an extra €10. Overall, not recommended unless you’re travelling with young children, as the hotel is extremely noisy. ⸻ If you need it even shorter, I can tighten it further.

Wat n mooi modern ingericht historisch hotel. Kunst en karpers in de tuin. Fantastisch ontbijt met als hoogtepunt warm gerookte zalm. De wellness was ook fantastisch en te gebruiken tot 23 u. Heel fijn!

De kamer was prima qua grootte maar de badkamer is erg klein. Er zijn zeep en shampoo in vaste flessen maar geen douche cap oid. De badkamer vinden wij echt tegen vallen.

Das Hotel macht insgesamt einen guten Eindruck das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon da war der Holztisch sehr verwittert und die alte Farbe war fast komplett abge geblättert. Das Balkongeländer und auch die Metallstühle waren nicht geputzt, so dass wir uns erst einmal selber helfen mussten. Das Hotel innen ist sauber und tipptopp, aber von außen bräuchte es etwas mehr Fürsorge. Das ist aber das einzige, was ich kritisieren würde. Ach ja, die Kissen waren uns zu dick und fest. Wir hatten aber unsere eigenen mit auf den Hotel Kissen hätten wir nicht schlafen können. Das Bett selbst ist sehr bequem und groß genug die Außenanlage ansonsten sehr gepflegt und idyllisch. Der Fahrradschuppen ist abschließbar. Das finden wir auch sehr nützlich.

Preis-Leistung waren für mich gut. Mehr hätte ich für das Zimmer nicht bezahlen wollen (es war zu diesem Zeitpunkt günstig). Bett groß und gut. Zimmer dunkel und kahl. 2 Nächte konnte ich es aber gut aushalten. Kleine Stufe zum Badezimmer -gewöhnungsbedürftig. Das Schwimmbad war mein Highlight und die Lage ist wunderbar für Spaziergänge im Wald.

Die Lage und das Frühstück waren super. Der Saunabereich ist nur mit Schwimmbekleidung nutzbar. Der Pool ist schön und groß. Die Qualität und Sauberkeit der Zimmer ist aus unsere Sicht für ein 4-Sterne Hotel nicht gut. Vor allem der Flur ist richtig dreckig.

Op de site van Expedia van een betalingsbewijs worden gedownload. Ik heb een factuur nodig en opgevraagd en wordt vervolgens doorverwezen naar Expedia. Waar op de site valt te lezen dat het hotel de (btw-)factuur kan leveren. Nogal jammer, niet weer.
