Royal Ushaka Hotel- Morningside
This place was amazing. Clean, beautiful views, quiet area, large rooms. Staff were helpful and friendly and stay out of your way so you can do whatever you want to. The only issue is that the parking can be a bit difficult to manage with a large vehicle.

Emakhosini Hotel on East
first of all it should never be listed, the building is in bad condition, the windows are falling, there is no aircondition considering it was 98 deg outside, the place was not clean I would not rate it any star. Expedia should take them off the hotels It is sad to call it a hotel.

We were near the centre of Durban, everything was easy to reach by car. The host was very friendly and helpful throughout. The accomodation was generously sized and cleaned regularly. Living in Durban has challenges but our stay was worthwhile.
