"This is a fun Quality Inn. I have no idea what the design was but have never seen one with a large interior with trees and spiral staircases with tons of common area. The design alone is very interesting. The rooms are clean and comfortable and you can tell the owners are renovating a massive space. Once the pool and hot tub are working again, this will be a great budget-friendly option for folks."

"Very clean, well appointed kitchen. Nice park across the street. Sofa/chairs are not same as in pictures and were flimsy and not comfortable. Outside amenities were scant with an unmaintained fire pit that would have taken 30 minutes to an hour to be able to use. Water had sulfur smell. I would stay there again but my wife was not as pleased as I was."

"McKinley Manor was an excellent place to stay for my family during our time in Rensselaer, the location was just perfect. It had enough big comfy beds for all of us. The house itself was absolutely beautiful inside, keeping the original woodwork and layout of the house was fantastic but adding the modern touches such as in the kitchen and the bathroom were perfect. We were just totally enthralled with the entire house. It was very nice having an evho dot in each room so that we could play our own music or as with my grandson, have White Noise play throughout the night. Of course my granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed the front parlor where she did her hair and makeup every day. Tabatha was an excellent host. She was very, very responsive to all my questions and request. I would definitely use her home again the next time we come to Rensselaer."

"Great location near family in the area and all the Holiday activities in the area. Perfect size space for all 10 of us (and 4 dogs). Host was easy to get in touch with on any quirks that popped up."
Rustic Cabin-Farmhouse Vibe Secluded with Hot Tub

"We had a great time with our large family because we all fit in the house comfortably. The house is remote and quiet and large. The weather didn't cooperate but we all fit inside and had plenty of places to play games and all of us had room to relax. It isn't a place for the hottest days of summer but for the rest of the time it's beautiful and green and there are plenty of things to do in the area. Our host was very helpful and quick with communications. He went out of his way to accommodate our requests and help with solutions. One thing I didn't know was that the water in the area has a lot of sulfur so there's a smell when it's heated. It worked out ok because it was too hot for warm showers. Overall, we had a nice place for our family to bond. It is a beautiful and quiet part of the country and I'm glad we were able to enjoy it."
