"Firstly I don't know what the issue with towels in this hotel. I stayed a week. Everyday I was having to chase up the cleaner who kept saying 5 mins which never happened so then had to go to reception to ask them. I don't know if this is a shortage of towels or what as heard a few other customers complaining. Reception staff Rikh and hadeel both lovely and helpful. Also Mustafa that works in the bar made sure I was always looked after with coffee pizza etc . What I didn't like was being asked...

"Dar Antonia is a beautiful and aesthetically pleasing collection of rooms and buildings. Very nice roof terrace with a small paddling pool. It is also in a good location in the medina (close to a main road so you can leave easily). The staff were great, particularly Rahma and Aliya who were very friendly and attentive at breakfast and other times throughout our stay. Our room (mimosa) was clean and beautifully designed, included a safe, AC (worked well) and a hairdryer. Shampoo and shower gel provided. Shower water was hot with good pressure. Towels changed every day and bed made up. The breakfast was good (included a boiled egg, bread, yoghurt, pastry, jam, halwa, lemon juice, melon and tea/coffee. There was however very little variation in the breakfast over the 3 days I was there. Room for improvement - there were a few things missing in the room which would’ve made our stay better including a fridge and a kettle. A complementary water bottle could’ve been provided in the room, especially given how hot it is. Water is also not provided at breakfast which was very surprising. There was not enough storage in the room. Bathroom was quite tight, very little space to manoeuvre and not many hooks to hang clothes. It was also not very well sound proofed and I could hear furniture being moved on the rooftop terrace at the end of the night which was disturbing. WiFi was also not the best. NB: there is no lift so something to bear in mind for those with mobility issues."

Here are the highlights of my stay: Flawless Service & Honest Pricing: The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. They were genuinely helpful—not just fishing for tips. In fact, I often had to insist on tipping them! Plus, unlike many other hotels, there were zero hidden fees. What you see is what you get. Multilingual Staff: Every staff member I interacted with spoke multiple languages effortlessly (English, French, Russian, and more), making communication totally stress-free. Clean Rooms with Great Views: My room was spotless, comfortable, and featured a beautiful view. Unbelievable All-Inclusive Food: The dining options were incredible! The buffet had a huge variety: Italian, Indian, and authentic Tunisian food (the couscous was amazing!). Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were consistently delicious every day. Prime Location: You are literally steps away from the beach. Walk out of the hotel, and your feet are in the sand! They provide sun loungers and umbrellas for guests. It’s also within easy walking distance to local stores, restaurants, and the main Corniche. Great Entertainment & Amenities: The pool area is pristine, and the animation team keeps things lively with fun activities for both kids and adults, both at the pool and along the beach. I’m definitely coming back again and again. Highly recommen"
