Welcome to Blue Goose 5, a gracious Sunriver retreat set just a short walk from the scenic Deschutes River. Light-filled, cheerful, and thoughtfully appointed, this spacious vacation home welcomes up to 8 guests with more than 2,000 square feet of living space, 3 bedrooms, including 2 suites, an open-concept main floor, and a comfortable bonus family room.

From the split-level entry, step up to the home’s main living area, where a wall of windows, vaulted ceilings, skylights, and warm hardwood floors create an immediate sense of openness and ease. The living room is designed for gathering, with comfortable seating, a collection of books and games, a 55-inch Smart TV with cable, and a cozy gas fireplace. Air conditioning and a medical-grade air filter help keep the home comfortable and fresh throughout the year.

Beside the living area, the updated kitchen and dining space invite both casual meals and lingering conversation. Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a gas range make the kitchen a pleasure to cook in, while the dining table seats 6, with additional indoor/outdoor chairs available for extra flexibility.

Through the sliding glass door, the large deck extends the home into its wooded surroundings. A gas barbecue and patio seating create an inviting setting for outdoor meals, morning coffee, or quiet evenings beneath the Central Oregon sky.

Off the living room, the spacious king suite offers a restful retreat with a comfortable king bed, new bedding, a 40-inch TV, and a light-filled reading nook and office area with a desk. The private ensuite bathroom includes a walk-in shower and a separate jacuzzi bathtub.

Downstairs, guests will find a bonus family room, 2 additional bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a laundry/mud room. The downstairs suite features a queen bed and private bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The third bedroom includes 2 twin beds with new mattresses and connects to the third full bathroom, which also offers jack-and-jill access from the family room. With a sleeper sofa and its own 45-inch TV, the family room is well suited for movie nights, game-day viewing, or a separate space to unwind while others gather upstairs.

Just outside the family room, the large hot tub offers a peaceful place to relax after a day of adventure, whether beneath the afternoon pines or the evening stars. Families traveling with young children will appreciate the thoughtful additions throughout the home, including toys, a pack-n-play, baby gate, high chair, and a full-size toddler crib with mattress that converts to a youth bed.

Blue Goose 5 is fully equipped for enjoying all that Sunriver has to offer. When you are ready to explore, set out on one of the adult bikes provided with the home, and enjoy more than 40 miles of paved pathways. Fort Rock Park, horseback riding, and lazy summer floats are all within easy reach.

AGE RESTRICTIONS: Guests must be 23 years or older to rent Bennington homes and the person reserving must occupy the home the whole reservation.
