However, this house was obviously remodeled recently and they did a excellent job. The upstairs (living area) is as good as it gets in Sunriver. The upstairs looks to be professionally decorated and the kitchen is stellar with all new appliances, pots/pans, dishes, and the perfect work triangle. Plus, they have a Weber natural gas outdoor grill. I love to cook and this kitchen and the outdoor dining area is perfectly designed for cooking and relaxing. The bedrooms are all downstairs and are nothing special. The master bath was remodeled with a nice-walk in shower, but the bathroom is tight. The problem with a 50 year old home is that you are restricted in how much you can do on the lower story. The owners did as much as they could and the whole house is very comfortable and spotless. We found this house to be very comfortable, well located, and fully stocked with bikes, games, and snow sleds. House looks very recently updated/remodeled. We enjoyed the common areas, and the kitchen is very well equipped. We stayed during a big snow storm, and really enjoyed the clean hot tub at the end of our long ski days at Mt. Bachelor. It was well stocked with everything you could need. We have never rented a home where the owners put so much thought into making the place perfect. The location was fantastic, offering a serene atmosphere surrounded by lush greenery and convenient access to local attractions. The cabin itself was exactly as described, with a charming rustic interior and top-notch amenities. The communication with the management team was excellent, as they were prompt, professional, and accommodating. The only minor downside was that the stairs were challenging to block off for a toddler due to their width. A standard size baby gate we had brought with us would not cover the stairwell, requiring extra caution. However, this didn't diminish our overall enjoyment of the stay. Our family had a wonderful time. There were lots of bikes, games, and easy access to the forest trails right out the door! This was the first property (we have stayed in many over the years) where the beds were comfortable and new! The kitchen was fully equipped and the stove and countertops were perfect for meal prep.
