It was closer to the downtown area and many of the breweries and restaurants we wanted to visit than some of the more popular lodges in town. However, it was not in the most updated part of town, and I would not call it walkable to downtown places. It worked well for us, but it does depend what you are looking for! The AC is only in the main living space, not the bedroom so in the warmer months you definitely need to leave the window open at night. The place was neat & tidy and very well appointed in the kitchen.
