The Neighborhood: 254 Steidl Cottage Getting Around: You are on the edge of downtown Bend, so once you get here you don't necessarily need to use your car. Everything you need is in walking distance. Other Things to Note: This is a studio cottage in a shared complex, and it's worth noting that from time to time, you might hear everyday sounds coming from neighboring units and common areas within the facility. If parking wasn't available right in front of our room, there was plenty of parking just 30 feet away. It had a great view, and the windows had privacy film on them, so people walking the tail by the window can't see in. Speaking of the trail, it was perfect having that easily accessible from the unit! The kitchenette was really useful as well. The only thing to that could've been better, is the bed was slightly uncomfortable, but fine for a couple night stay.
