The Smith Rock State Park is a short 45 min drive to the North and Crater Lake National Park is a 2-hour drive to the south. Jameson's Place (named after my son) is a great space for families with small children and/or pets. The private fully fenced backyard is a wonderful space to play cornhole after a long day of exploring Central Oregon. House Rules: Quiet hours are 9 PM to 9 AM Dogs or cats considered No unattended pets left uncrated Pet fee $25 per pet per day No pets on furniture, beds, or in bedrooms. The house was nicely decorated, very clean, and beds were comfy. We were in Bend for a family reunion and were close to my parent's, which was convenient. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Kitchen equipping is adequate but modest so come prepared. Good neighborhood for dog walking. Nice to find a one-level home in Bend as we had my 91 year-old mother with us. ##### Allison P. Thankfully, we did not need to resort to hotel rooms. This home was appointed well, though I would love a few more kitchen gadgets for an extended stay. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms just right. We loved that we could use the garage as well. That is often unavailable. We were doing a last minute search for a place to stay in Bend that was near the St. Charles Medical Center. Lucky for us we found this home and the gracious host helped us book it.
