This isn’t a swimmable part of the River but gorgeous views and right next to pioneer park which is lovely. A short walk to downtown for meals and coffee in the morning. Our favorite was looney bean where we could sit outside under a tree by the river. But so many good eats around!! As for the property, it was great to have a full kitchen. The patio was nice to sit and enjoy the views. The place is old but clean, my only complaint would be the beds, they are very uncomfortable. Maybe if it’s just one person in the bed it wouldn’t be bad, but sharing the bed with my husband (and my teen girls in the other bed, was not doable. The beds are small and very shaky, i could feel every single move and twitch my husband made which kept me up. luckily there is a pull out bed my daughter ended up sleeping on, and I bought an air mattress to sleep on. Other than the sleeping situation we had a wonderful time and my girls also enjoyed the pool. ##### Amber B. On the Deschutes River and walking distance to downtown Bend. Loved sitting on the balcony in the morning for coffee, and evenings for a glass wine. Also loved the gas fireplace for warmth when it started to snow! Lying on the bed (in the LR) and looking at the view was lovely. Beds were comfortable, although both are full-size. They’re firm, if you prefer soft.... bring a comforter. We loved this cozy little two unit rental and we would rent again! ##### Liz J.
