Helaas was het onthaal in het kasteel ondermaats. Een storting moest als waarborg ontvangen worden alvorens de code van de deur werd gegeven. Niemand aanwezig om onthaal te doen. We moesten alles zelf uitzoeken. Bijgevolg 24h zonder verwarming gezeten in 9°C. Zonder onthaal was er ook geen inzage op de meterstanden om het verbruik te controleren aangezien deze achter gesloten deuren zaten. Ook de zekering voor verwarming... Receptionist welcoming and spoke English. Room was of a good size, with bunk beds over the main double bed for our family. A couple of niggles though: The lighting system is confusing. There are limited instructions as to how to turn them off, though this is in German and French and not English. If you are reading this and having the same problem, you need to click the left hand switch twice to turn them off and have the room and darkness, otherwise every time you turn one light off, another one will turn on in the room. It took a call to the concierge to find this out (I suspect he was a little annoyed, as he told me twice that the instructions were on the wall - maybe expecting Facebook, French or German). Though the room was clean, the carpet needs washing, as there was an order of stinky feet to it. The room was also very hot, even with a ceiling fan, so you may want to bring a fan of your own to keep cool during the night."
