Only stayed for one night midweek. Everything was excellent; the staff, our room, our dinner and breakfast. The hotel is very handy for the A1 but is in a small hamlet with no other amenities that we saw. I have nothing bad to say about the white swan inn. The room was beautiful with rum and cake given every day! It was quiet, just off the a1 and a 20 minute drive to alnwick, seahouses, lindisfarne and accessible to everything. Breakfast was amazing with plenty to choose from and the hosts extremely helpful and polite.
