"Great location, despite being next to the road, it was quiet. Pool was not in working condition but we used the Schroon Lake instead. So didn’t feel we are missing something. We liked our stay and plan to come again. The owner was very helpful."

"The five of us—two adults and three teenagers—had a wonderful stay at the Icehouse. The house is located just one house away from Schroon Lake and within easy walking distance. The deck offers beautiful views of the lake, and we especially enjoyed watching the hummingbirds buzzing around throughout the day.The accommodations were very comfortable. My spouse and I stayed in the queen bedroom with the en-suite bathroom, while the three teenage girls shared the king bedroom. We used the spare bedroom primarily to store our belongings. Each bedroom has air conditioning, which kept us comfortable both during the day and overnight.We also appreciated that there were no detectable pet odors anywhere in the home. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and are already looking forward to returning next year!"

"We had an amazing week! Our large party of 13, ranging in age from 4 to 76, had such a wonderful time. The home was incredibly clean, comfortable, and welcoming, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. Caitie was incredibly responsive whenever we had questions, and it was easy to tell that she truly cared about making sure our family enjoyed our stay.The kitchen was well-appointed and had everything we needed to prepare meals, and having a full bathroom attached to each bedroom was an amazing bonus for our large group! The property itself was so much fun, with two fire pits, a large sandy beach, a water trampoline, and kayaks and canoes to enjoy.With town so close by, it was easy to grab groceries, pick up souvenirs, enjoy dinner out, and even get to our rental boat. The location also puts you close to so many fun Adirondack adventures, while still feeling peaceful and relaxing.In the evenings, we saw millions of stars and listened to the loons on the lake. We even spotted a bald eagle one day! Our only complaint was that we eventually had to leave!The memories our family made here will truly last a lifetime. We’re so grateful for such a special vacation and would absolutely love to come back!"
