About this property

1 Bed in Beaworthy (oc-00782)

  • Conveniently located a short drive from the attractive village of Sheepwash and on the London to Lands End cycle trail, this is a great location from which to explore. Walkers and cyclists will also be in their element with the Tarka Trail nearby and stunning Dartmoor National Park is just a short drive away. Alternatively, head towards the coast and enjoy the spectacular beaches and picturesque fishing villages the area is famed for including Westward Ho!, Hartland and Clovelly. There are also many traditional market towns and villages to explore in the surrounding area such as Bideford, where you can jump on the Oldenburg and take a day trip to Lundy Island. Other local attractions include RHS Rosemoor and Dartington Crystal.

Step inside this delightful converted barn and you will immediately find yourself in a fabulously light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Here a comfortable sofa sits in front of a TV/DVD and a door to outside means that you can dine alfresco with ease. The kitchen area is well-equipped and boasts an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and even a dishwasher. Venturing up the stairs and onto the first floor you will then discover the beautiful bedroom, a fantastically presented king-size with a vaulted ceiling and exposed beams; the perfect place to relax in style after a day exploring. An en-suite bathroom with hand held shower over stunning freestanding bath, separate shower and WC, completes the offering inside the property.

Outside of the property and accessed via the door from the lounge area, there is lovely little enclosed garden, and this comprises a patio, garden furniture and charcoal BBQ, and steps leading to a small area of lawn, why not relax in the private wood-fired hot tub with countryside views. Further to this there is access to woodland walks and a play paddock, ideal for ball games or exercising dogs. The property also benefits from access to a shared utility room with washing machine, freezer and useful storage space for bikes, surfboards and golf clubs etc.
