Beachside State Recreation Site Tours and Activities

This was the nastiest place we have ever stayed. Toilet was broken on the bottom, got plugged, tears in carpet, no knob on microwave, coffee was very old, carpet and outlets were dirty, hole in screen to lanai, railing was pvc and barely attached, no clock, bedding and pillows were very old. All around the dirtiest, run down place I've ever been. Keys were canceled on the second night and when we wrong the bell at 10:30 at night the fork was rude and snotty. There are no check ins after 10 pm because they don't have anyone at the front desk. Horrible and limited parking.

Clean, economical and friendly. Walls are thin and the shower head height is for small children but it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely for kids.

This area is surrounded by homeless people , and I had to stay in my truck all night and not even sleep in the hotel because there are people walking up to my truck , looking around it and under it . I asked the front desk if there was security and was told there was none. For almost $400 a night , I should be able to park my truck and trailer and not have homeless people walking around it . In the morning , when I asked for assistance in the morning , the woman was very rude and no help at all. Which caused me to be more upset . Hotel was nice but staff was no help and area was terrible and unsafe ! There’s a chair sitting there where homeless people just sit and watch out for other people stealing
