"We enjoyed a lovely three day break in the Harbour Post Cottage. This is a relatively new listing and the accommodation was spotless, well appointed and good quality bedding and towels. The cottage is very well located for the harbour restaurants and the local shops. Street parking immediately outside was easy. Our party of three adults and one small dog would thoroughly recommend this accommodation,"

"Gorgeous cottage with lovely seating areas at the back of the property with views to the harbour and estuary.Had everything we needed and more, very clean and short walk to some lovely cafes, ice cream shop, Amble's high street etc. Would definitely book again."

"We had a lovely stay overall. The house is in a fantastic location, the décor is beautiful, and the beds were really comfortable. Parking was a little tricky when we first arrived, but once we’d parked, the cone provided to reserve the space outside the property was a great idea. The only reason we marked cleanliness down slightly was because the cleaner didn’t leave until around 10 minutes after the 4pm check-in time, so the floors were still soaking wet when we arrived. There were also a few cobwebs in the bedrooms, and the barbecue was left very dirty with rubbish from previous guests, so we had to clean it ourselves before we could use it. Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return."

"We had an amazing first stay in Becalmed. We will definitely return as it is one of the best places we have ever stayed in. The view is really special with incredible sunsets looking over towards Warkworth castle. The apartment has a very high end finish and really feels like a treat getting to stay there. There is a dedicated parking space, incredibly comfy beds and great wifi. Host and Stay were great to deal with, checked in with us during our stay and we were made to feel that we could contact them at any point if needed. The head housekeeper also checked on us to ask if we had everything we needed. We already can't wait to return."

"The location was excellent and the property has a great view and is convenient for the beach and harbour.We had an issue on arrival as the property had not been fully cleaned,this was addressed promptly by the management team who sent cleaners to.resolve the issue.We had great meals at The Harbour Inn and the Old Boathouse and sausages from The Geordie Banger on the harbour, which our labradors loved each day.Amble is a great tourist place and great base for visiting Northumberland"

"The property was well equipped, comfortable and a lovely house. The beds were good we slept well, the location is quiet and not busy being a cu de sac, we found the landing needed a blind at the window for privacy between bedrooms and bathroom.The garden needs some TLC otherwise very good."
