"More like a bed and buffet! Ask Ray about the imported from Naples pastries! I stayed in comfy room 2 which has its own private entry/exit n the side. Check out hole in the wall Friends & Co for amazing lobster roll and fries and Allegre for Italian 4-course prix-fixe. Hammonasset Beach State Park nearby was a nice oasis in the fall. Would visit here again with the lady."

"Great experience, very nice home. We were up for a wedding - 2 couples - and were very happy to have rented this house. It’s extremely well equipped, exceptionally clean and has very comfortable furniture/beds. Generous room sizes - kitchen, family room and living room. Master has a sitting room/dressing room. Although we did not need many of the “extra’s”, I was amazed at how well it was stocked with every possible want/need (high chair, beach chairs, towels, cooler, kayaks, grill, games, puzzles, dvds) -you name it. Highly recommend."

"The photos don’t do this beachfront property justice. Stunning water views on all sides of the house. Darling little towns dot the shoreline. We had lots to do with kids aged 18 months to 7 years, even with the rain. We stayed there during a nor’easter storm, Joe was the perfect host. Quickly jumped in to get the city to move a downed tree, gave us flexibility with check in time to accommodate flights. Highly recommend!"

"First, I have to say that this was the most fully stocked rental I have ever stayed in! There were tea bags, K-Cups, and so many thoughtful extras. The house was also obviously freshly renovated and very clean.The layout was a little awkward, with the only shower being downstairs while the bedrooms are upstairs. The fenced-in area for pets in the back was also somewhat difficult to access from the house because the fences/gates open in the opposite direction.I was a little surprised when the owner emailed me requesting an additional 92 for my pups. The listing stated that the property was pet-friendly, and there was no notice indicating that there would be an additional pet fee. I would have appreciated knowing about the fee upfront when making the reservation.Overall, though, the house was very clean, well-stocked, and clearly cared for."
