You get a beautiful view from almost all locations. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I didn't eat at all of the restaurants but the pizza at Il Forno was good. As were the drinks! I would have liked to see a few Mexican options on the menu, but, I could have ventured around the property to a different restaurant if it was really an issue. It was low season, but they seemed fully staffed and everything was open. The only comment I have is that I waited over an hour for help with my luggage on check out, despite making several calls. I had given myself plenty of time for the airport, but that could have been an issue for someone on a tighter schedule.

First off, everyone there is trying to sell you time shares there’s heckling salesman that bother you during breakfast. The infrastructure is falling apart like there’s literal tiles falling off of pools and hot tubs don’t work. They shut down amenities like certain pools and guest areas to accommodate weddings daily. If you are not part of a wedding party you often times feel like a second class citizen. There were multiple weddings that took place directly outside my room and the hotel paid actually no consideration for our privacy. Once night, staff was even setting up for a wedding overnight with spotlights and power tools right outside our room. They were also loud and bright celebrations. There was a trail of ants that ran 24/7 from outside to behind a bed frame that maintenance did absolutely nothing about. At night, without fail, geckos would enter the room and screech all night long. The room’s infrastructure wasn’t secure enough to keep them locked out. We had no body wash in our room and it took them days to replace. Once they finally did, they replaced it with hand soap. Overall this resort gives a false flag of luxury that isn’t really there. It’s full of cheap repairs and unless you’re willing to pay a premium for something on top of your initial charges I wouldn’t expect anything great.
