"Super surprised by our stay at Moyura Hotel, we had a lovely stay and all the staff were super helpful. First the room were the best we've had Nepal, especially at this price point. It was huge, squeaky clean with great facilities and an awesome shower. The restaurant was also a lovely suprise. Big thanks to Krishna Thapa who was working in the restaurant. We asked for all of dishes to be changed to be suitable for vegans, and he made what could have been a challanging order really simple....

"Descent guesthouse in a good location near enough to everything but not loud and crazy. Within a 15 minute walk to bus station, 5-10 minutes away from food choices and banks etc. For this price hotels would be in worse shape so better to stay here. "We didn't get the room we ordered (and paid for). The unfortunately very meager confirmation from Expedia, which did not list the room type, was not helpful either. There was a hole where the minibar with refrigerator was supposed to be. Hot water only came when asked one day and not at all the next. Since there were very few guests in the hotel, there was no breakfast buffet. That's ok, but the menu offering was very meager. They also managed to ensure that the tea was only served after all the other breakfast had already been there. The question about booking a car for onward travel was very reluctant to be heard; there was no way to help. The neighboring hotel, where we were not guests, was very kind about this. All in all very disappointing and totally overpriced."
