Barrow County Courthouse Tours and Activities

ONLY THING I DIDN'T LIKE WAS THE BATHROOM WITH A REGULAR SINK DIDN'T HAVE NOWHERE TO PLACE MY TOOTHBRUSH AND TOOTHPASTE LOTION AND BRUSH AMONGST OTHER THING... DEFINITELY NEED TO UPDATE THE BATHROOM ROOM 348 AND DEFINITELY WASN'T HAPPY ABOUT A BATHTUB. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS AMAZING..

This is an interesting property and I have visited twice over several years. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The atmosphere is serene and quiet. My room overlooked a lake, meaning the door to my room was glass and I stepped out onto a sidewalk on the edge of a lake. It is a "resort" that has family home sites for sale. Most of the lots have not been sold. So it has the feel of a vacant development without much progress. The restaurant is in an open space in the lobby area - Not what you would expect looking at the menu. Overall, the grounds and buildings were not as kept up this trip as compared to my last several years ago. Some of the trails are currently under renovation. But I enjoyed 5-6 miles runs both days. The staff was very friendly and I enjoyed my stay. It is nice for a quiet getaway or needed downtime.
