Barnstable Vacation Packages

Unfortunately, very shortly after checking in we went to our room and noticed just a few minor things like stains on the curtains and a very old - rusty bathroom. While those were not dealbreakers…… after looking at the sheets and the mattress we noticed that there were indeed bedbugs. I’m very thankful we did not bring in our luggage and I returned to the front desk with pictures to make them aware. They were very kind and did help refund my money. However, my concern is that their property was not being cleaned as it should be to prevent the further spread of bedbugs or proper care to prevent ongoing problem as they were sold out the following night.

The Chapter House is an absolutely charming Inn with a rich history and period elegance. Our experience began with some very attentive and inviting attention from Bill, who was the manager at check-in. He had already communicated that our room was ready and he immediately made us feel at home. He took us personally to our room, which was in the Carriage House and it was cozy and completely charming with a sumptuous King bed......great sleep! What is really charming about the Chapter House are the grounds, which include a large golf-green like lawn and patio deck with ample seating and places to relax. And lastly, a six-seater bar with great drink menu and nosh, and Bill bakes the most amazing chocolate croissants! Fabulous stay and we can't wait to go back!

So family friendly, kids loved the water park also the rooms are so cute and updated and clean with very comfortable beds

Everything was ok the breakfast was amazing but it was I was little upset that there was no sauna or steam room even though it is till advertised. Overall it was a great stay!
