The cottage is pet-friendly; however, we kindly ask that dogs are kept on a lead at the front of the house due to nearby livestock and a public footpath. Situated in the heart of Lancashire, Barnoldswick—affectionately known as “Barlick” by locals—provides an excellent base for exploring both the Yorkshire Dales and the Forest of Bowland, two stunning Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This historic market town is full of character, with cobbled streets, independent shops, traditional pubs, and friendly cafés. For walkers and nature lovers, the options are endless. The Leeds and Liverpool Canal runs through the town, offering scenic, flat walks suitable for all ages and abilities.
