Room was comfortable with good AC. I was on 3rd floor and a good amount of street noise for the holiday but I still had a good night rest. The bathroom is a little tired but everything works. Close to food and 7/11.

I notified the hotel regarding the sudden death of a family member and would not be able to visit Bangkok at this time and was hoping any refund would be helpful for my situation but of cause there's no respond at all after many attempted to reach them. heartless hotel management.

The only reason anyone should stay this property is the convenience of its location - everything else about UPAR Hotels was horrible to the point where we checked out a night early to go stay on the floor of a friends apartment. For starters, the staff at reception was exceptionally rude, especially the man who works the night shift. During our check in, we were treated with complete annoyance and being asked irrelevant personal questions. Our asks for extra towels and hair dryers were completely ignored during our stay. The property itself was disgusting - the cleaning staff did not clean the bathrooms at all. The showers were disgusting and the rooms had garbage in the corners. The tipping point, however, was the number of rats we saw during out 2 night stay. Due to garbage being left out on the common area floors, we saw many huge rats running around outside our rooms and fighting over garbage that was left by the cleaning staff in the open for many hours of the afternoon. Our friend who stayed on the floor below us said he heard rats running around through the walls and ceiling. To add to the above experiences, the toilet in our bathroom randomly stopped working. After a whole day out, we came back to our hotel to discover the flush was not working and were given no explanations on why and no one sent to fix it. Overall, please do not consider UPAR Hotels for your next stay. There are other hotels in the area for the same price that do not have rats running around.

Bien
