I had to call to get someone to come to reception. The room hadn’t been cleaned in between me and the previous guest, they had however changed the sheets. There was no loo roll and when I asked for some the woman at reception said I should go to 7-eleven to buy some. There was hair all over the bathroom floor, bugs crawling around in the bathroom and I even saw a cockroach once. The bathroom smelt like sewage and the shower hadn’t been cleaned as there were hair balls in the shower. The bed was a good size, bigger than I was expecting (maybe a large single or queen size) and decently comfortable. The hostel in general was quiet with very few guests and there was air conditioning (but with the curtain to your bed closed it can get quite warm even with the aircon). The location is about 20 min in the car from Khaosan Road and 25 mins from Wat Pho, but if you get a bike then the time is a lot quicker.
