Introducing Casa Rimba, an exclusive vacation rental in the renowned area of Escaleras, beautifully overlooking the South Pacific ocean. Built in July 2016 Casa Rimba is simply stunning! The residence holds 5,000 square feet including 3 master bedrooms, 3.5 baths,truly a "tropical modern masterpiece" surrounded by dramatic jungle and with some of the most dramatic white water ocean views in the area, inclusive of the famous "whales tail" located just off the coast of Marino Bellana National park. The Villa itself sits at an elevation of 720 feet above sea level accessed via a dirt road (4X4 required) The constant ocean breezes and cool air of the jungle are the origin of Casa Rimba's inspiration as it translates to "sounds of the jungle". The temperature keeps at a cool 82 degrees consistently making Casa Rimba a perfect vacation spot all year round... Casa Rimba is conveniently located near Escaleras Village - only a 1 min drive or a nice jungle hike. Escaleras Village has a great Market, Spa, Coffee Shop, and outstanding restaurant with beautiful jungle views. The gated electronic entryway leads into Ka Noare, an exclusive development of estate homes with many amenities. The actual entrance to the Casa Rimba estate consists of majestic steel door with beautiful stone carvings and water feature which leads into a grand opening fountain entrance. Th entrance opens onto the open living room and kitchen all extending to an expansive deck and 360 degree elevated infinity pool surrounded by jungle and ocean views. This jungle estate combines indoor/outdoor living, all blended together in a unique way that enhances the natural surroundings, all while maintaining a superior level of comfort. The open floor plan consists of state of the art kitchen with Hafele hardware and quartzite counter tops and stainless steel GE profile appliances. All sinks and facets are kohler. A large cascading quartzite island with prep sink and gas cook top makes cooking at ease while enjoying the beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean over infinity pool! Local food, fresh catch and fruits are available for delivery OR you can make a quick run into town and pick up locally grown groceries for supper for the more adventurous type. The living area has a large TV with Sonos connected ceiling speakers throughout common areas. Casa Rimba opens to an outdoor patio area complete with teak decks and travertine stone, rattan lounge chairs with sumbrela material and very comfortable sitting area. As well as an outdoor kitchen with built in four burner gas grill, outdoor beverage center and prep sink, all complemented with a rattan table that comfortably seats six. This area truly is amazing! Our guests have stayed at Casa Rimba for weeks or months solely basking in the comfort of this great outdoor area. The 32' long 360 degree infinity edge "Bali stone" pool is large enough to swim laps in and is both children and seniors friendly. The view from the pool that is overlooking the ocean with Marino Ballena National park is awe inspiring. A must see to believe. Each bedroom has a private bathroom with teak platforms and high flow rain and spray shower. Also, with walk in closets and teak king size beds with pillow top mattresses, split central A/C super quiet. A full unobstructed ocean and jungle views from 3 master bedrooms with generous walk in closets. The showers make you feel as if outside yet private and enclosed. You can opens up to bring the jungle and ocean breezes in, and can be closed and locked for privacy and security. The surrounding jungle canopy is alive with both howler and white faced monkeys, vibrant colored Toucan birds, sloths, iguanas and parrots. You will find many things to do here in Costa Rica! The house and surroundings are stunning. We enjoyed sitting outside overlooking the beautiful jungle and ocean. We saw toucans and blue butterflies, and heard the howler monkeys in the mornings. The house is between Dominical and Uvita and close to beautiful beaches. The road up to the house is a bit disconcerting at first but you do get used to it. A 4x4 is definitely needed. We saw two species of monkeys, many different birds - including parrots and toucans, a coati, and an iguana all from the property. The house is simply spectacular in many respects, location, design, appointments, views, privacy. As long as you realize that the house is at the end of a very steep and winding mountain dirt road, and sits in the middle of the jungle and don't mind the large insect population, you are truly in a piece of paradise. We did not share the effusive opinion of previous tenants about the house manager who seemed at best uninterested, but this did not impact our enjoyment of this truly special house. ##### Philippe B. Evan was very easy to work with booking the home and Leif took care of our every need. Casa Rimba exceeded our expectations! It was very well equipped and the beds were really comfortable. The design of the home is simply beautiful and took every advantage of the gorgeous views. We loved the location so close to Dominical and Uvita, with great restaurants close by. The home is directly in the rain forest and only a 5 minute drive up the hill. We have stayed at other homes in that area that were two to three times as far up the hill which makes leaving and returning a process! There is also a state of art workout facility that you can walk to which was so nice to have close by. The wildlife we saw so close to the house was unbelievable, we would awaken to howler monkeys and have coffee watching them and at least 7 toucans and dozens of other birds flying around us all while enjoying the views of the Pacific Ocean behind them! I cannot say enough how wonderful this home and location are!! Highly recommend it! ##### Kevin H. Our family of 4 spent 4 nights and loved every minute of it, wished we could have stayed longer. The views and the pool were like nothing we've ever experienced. The house was spotless and brand new, Leif was a pleasure to deal with and answered our endless questions. There were so many cool spots to explore within a 10 minute drive when we weren't simply enjoying the house. The howler monkeys were a highlight each morning. The chefs service that brought dinner was a nice touch too. Would highly recommend and hope to return for another visit. sometime. ##### lisa p. We were 3 couples un paradise. 2 wonderfull room with glass showers and a fantastique Master suite on the second Floor. All includs were quality and nothing was missing. The patio, the pool even the exterior Light were wonderfull and gave the place an amazing ambiance at night. It is well localed in the jungle between Dominical and Uvita. Monkeys, pigs, and beautiful birds and butterflies entertained us during the day. The pool is just the right size for a comfortable dip on a warm afternoon. The kitchen will meet all your needs with the latest appliances and is well equipped. The outdoor bbq area is perfect with the gas grill and small fridge. Loved the deck area for viewing wildlife in the rain forest. Leif was on hand for any request and made sure we had all we needed for a fantastic trip. Cocktails by the pool overlooking the Pacific ocean watching the sun set, Priceless. A beautiful house with all the modern amenities close to all the cool activities.
