The location was great walking around old city. To make up for this the staff were brilliant. A special thanks to Khazar and Cemil. We had a visa issue so arrived 3 hours late and they resent the driver to pick us during rush hour. They also helped organise trips late the day before including private driver trip to Sheki. Breakfast was good and regularly topped up. The only recommendation would be to make the rooms a bit more modern. They are basic and functional but not four star. Thanks to all the staff at Sunday for making it a memorable trip in lovely Azerbaijan.

Decent room for the price, center part of town and walking distance to most sight seeing locations, note if you were taking a bolt a driver can not bring you to the location so you must be dropped off at the garden or metro north or northwest of the hotel and walk down. Be prepared to bring your own luggage without assistance. Assistance to bring luggage to your room is offered once in hotel, but not to.

Cheap, good location, staff generally good. Housekeeping poor; shower runs hot & cold (no thermostatic valve); plumbing very noisy; toilet seat loose; wet carpet; no bedside light; overhead lights very bright and only one switch by door; no instructions for room safe; only two coat hangers. BEST AVOIDED
