Beautiful log cabin with 32 acres of privacy. Great place to unwind. Cuddle by the fire or hike the surrounding land. Cabin has all the modern amenities. It is close to Lost River State Park, Rockcliffe Lake and Trout Pond. Also close to Mathias, Baker, Lost City, Wardensville, and Moorefield, WV. Seasonal views, excellent weekend getaway and an ideal place to escape and bond with nature next to a warm fireplace! We have security cameras located on the property. They are for the safety of our guests. Cameras are at the entrance doors. We also have game cameras in the woods. If you’re coming up in the winter time December through March make sure you check weather conditions. You will need a four-wheel-drive to get up our driveway if there is a lot of snow/ice. The home was accommodating for our group of 7\. The house is far enough out from the towns that there is hardly any light pollution (great stargazing here) and no sounds from traffic. We traveled about 30 minutes to a hike in Lost River State Park to see the Cranny Crow Overlook (3hour hike!) Virginia The cabin is beautiful as well as the property if sits on halfway up a mountain! We enjoyed hiking on the property and the seclusion of the cabin. It was great that each of the three bedrooms had their own full bath, and the two rooms/beds we used were very comfortable. The kitchen was great and the living room relaxing with the floor to ceiling windows on one side of the cabin! The owner was easy to contact when we had a problem turning off the fireplace on our arrival, and was easy to reach when we had another minor issue checking out.
