It’s an elegant old hotel that has become a little shabby. Still it is comfortable and one of the better options in Baker City

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. However...an incessant, unending humming in the HVAC system left me with a headache the next morning.
Wow, what a fun unique stay! If passing through you’ve got to stay here. Rooms are huge!!! It was a nice break from being crammed in other small hotels on our roadtrip. Very helpful staff.
Grand historic hotel with lots of charm. Beautifully refurbished close to original design. Conveniently located down town near other historic buildings. Food, service and staff were all great.
The historic Geiser Grand Hotel was a great choice for our family while traveling from Oregon into Idaho. We could not have been more pleased and truly enjoyed our evening and morning in Baker City, Oregon. Our hotel experience was a pleasure and the staff were wonderful.
The breakfast we had was amazing. A beautiful place to stay, love the decor.

I was surprised to see that there was an extra $24 on our rate for a 2nd guest! That didn't seem to come with any additional amenities for the 2 of us. There weren't enough towels. There was only 1 luggage rack. There was no way to plug in a phone or other electronics on one side of the bed.
There's no onsite parking, so be prepared to park on the street, or pay for valet services. They seemed a little understaffed. Check in was friendly enough, but the service in the cafe wasn't great.
It is in the heart of Baker City and we had a great dinner at Cabyn, just a few blocks away.
Very unique hotel. Staff were wonderful. Will stay there again

The property restoration was completed in 1998, nothing seems to have been updated since then. The bed was heavily used. No black out shades or drapes so the room was way to bright for restful sleeping. The evening dinner was at best marginal. Breakfast was good. The daily rate not really worth it so it is not on my recommended list to visit.

Very nice historical hotel. The staff were wonderful
If you like histórico properties you won’t be disappointed with this one. The staff were friendly, restaurant was great and for me I loved the bed and pillows. Glad this beauty escaped the wrecking ball.
We had planned on one night stay and then a massive snow storm hit the Snoqualmie pass. We decided to stay 3 nights and loved it. The hotel is a gorgeous building and the entire experience feels very old school. Very attentive staff. They did a wonderful job accommodating us staying longer and even made sure we didn’t have to swap rooms. Sure, the place might be haunted, but we saw no signs the ghosts were anything but friendly.
Loved the historic charm of this hotel. Very friendly staff, front desk gentlemen and bar tenders were all very kind. Perfect walking distance to anything in town. Very quiet area also.
