The best times to visit Johor Bahru are during the dry seasons, typically from March to June and from September to October, to enjoy comfortable weather for exploring. These periods generally offer less rainfall and more sunshine, making it ideal for outdoor activities like visiting the Johor Zoo or exploring the Sultan Abu Bakar State Mosque. The temperatures are consistently warm, averaging around 27-30°C, which is pleasant for walking around the city and enjoying its attractions. For families, visiting during these drier months ensures that plans for theme parks, such as Legoland Malaysia, are less likely to be interrupted by heavy downpours. The drier weather also makes it easier to navigate the city with children and pushchairs.Couples might find these months appealing for romantic strolls through the Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple or enjoying an evening out at the various dining spots along Jalan Dhoby, without the worry of sudden rain.
