Accomodation The accommodation comprises a comfortable open plan kitchen/dining /lounge with French doors out to the decking area, lounge area has large L shaped sofa ample seating for 6 also with a 32" flat screen TV, freesat box and a DVD player, the lounge also incorporates a wall mounted electric heater with living flame option for that cozy glow even when fire not required to be on. Dining area has table and seats for 4\. The well appointed kitchen has a gas cooker with hob, oven and separate grill, integrated microwave and integrated fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery and pots, pans, glasses and utensils, everything that you will need to make meals for all your family needs. Sleeps 4, There are 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom includes a king size bed, has large wardrobe and shelf space, ample drawer space, above headboard storage, dressing table with stool mirror and an en-suite. The second bedroom has twin beds, wardrobe, under bed storage and above headboard storage. There is also a double lift out sofa bed in the lounge. Other facilities include shower room Quatity bedding and towels provided It is double glazed and centrally heated throughout. Gas and electric included in price Outside there is a decking area to front and side There is a 6' x 6' shed to rear for additional storage for skis, ski boots, bikes etc.. WIFI available at a small daily fee purchased through the site access Location Aviemore Holiday Park is based closed to the city centre and offers access to all local services and amenities including restaurants, hotel, post office, bus transport, train station, fishing, bike hire, golf, tennis and bowls. There is also a great convenience store not too far from the site. The famous river Spey runs through the site and reasonably priced fishing permits are available from reception. There is a coin operated washing machine and drier on site also a beauty and therapy salon beside the reception. The area is great for lovers of the great outdoors. Walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and fishermen will be impressed by the spectacular scenery. Golfers are spoilt for choice here. Property well equipped, warm and cosy although weather was generally good. Location is so peaceful and feels rural while having all Aviemore has to offer just a short walk away and the excellent Old Bridge Inn on the doorstep. Communication from host was excellent. Unfortunately we were advised to evacuate from the site due to severe flooding in the area so only stayed for one night but Ian kept in touch with us throughout, passing on all info/ weather updates required. It’s a lovely, peaceful holiday park which makes you feel away from it all and yet Aviemore is right around the corner and you’re only 5 minutes from Rothiemurcus and 10 minutes from Loch Morlich. The main bedroom is really spacious with lots of storage and a handy en-suite WC, and while the second bedroom is small it’s perfect for kids. The shower room is petite but all you need, and the kitchen was sufficient for prepping breakfasts and picnics but you could easily cook evening meals too. The lounge area is large with a roomy sofa, so plenty space to relax, and the decked balcony was great for eating outside in the gorgeous weather we had. The cabin did get quite warm at night and very hot during the day (highs were 25C) but drawing the curtains before we left for outings helped and it soon cooled down after opening all the windows and doors. There isn’t WiFi, but you can pay to connect to the park’s offering at 2.50 a day if needed. Finally, Ian was a super host, really communicative and helpful - thank you! ##### Katrina A. We were in Aviemore with our children for a few days skiing and exploration of the surrounding area. The holiday park was quiet and peaceful and a great location by the river, the ducks were well fed during our stay! It was clean and well kept with a bar on site which had a welcoming fire. My husband was able to watch the rugby and there were plenty of board games and a pool table to keep the children occupied. It was easy walking distance into town and to local pubs and restaurants. The caravan had everything we needed, it was really warm and immaculately kept. There was a good selection of DVD’s to keep us entertained when the snow was heavy. We would definitely stay again.
