Pool times apply) 9am to 7pm. There is a hand cranking Industrial pull system just for fun. The space has a fantastic entertaining BBQ on the the deck. Buildings have safety features with smoke alarms, and carbon monoxide detectors, Many of the buildings have gas stove tops and kerosene heaters. The ovens, are a camp style oven, small that sits onto of the gas stoves, can fit a chicken or veggies. The washing machine is a retro hand cranking eco machine, though if you wish to use the laundry up at the main house you're welcome to for electric machines or dryer. This Red Tree House has a spiral staircase to gain access to the building, Inside you will find a self sufficient kitchen and a luxurious, disability friendly bathroom. The entertaining space can be utilised as a sleeping area that contains a single matress. A large smart TV and great sound system and a viewing deck. Continue up the stunning galvanized spiral staircase to the second level, containing a queen bed and bedroom space, with beautiful linen. Continue up to the third and top level, with Stunning views high up in the treetops, looking towards the Gold Coast Hinterland. With a fantastic entertaining space with a large hooded gas BBQ. The second private bedroom is up on this top level. All bedrooms have block out blinds. Top level also has a toilet and the entertaining space with table and chairs out on the viewing deck that is semi covered. The full moon is stunning up on this hill. The tree houses have front row seats at certain times of the month. In late November the fruit bats tend to fly over at dusk making quite a spectacle. If you're lucky you can spot the endangered Black Cockatoo feeding and flying around our area. Also wallabies and many more wildlife to enjoy. You have the city lights from the Gold Coast city, lighting up part of your view all night long. We have created a wonderful space with a main viewing deck from the main house and swimming pool. The property has 2 km of walking tracks through a wonderfull array of changing forest scapes, After enjoying the land you can relax in the hot tub that can be used upon appointment. The walking tracks go through rainforest and dry eucalyptus forests. This property owner is a scam!! Once you book you will be contacted by the owner who then depends to have a copy of your id and credit card regardless of payment already being made via Expedia. You then get money taken from your account and then when you finally get to site you have to attempt to contact the owner non stop to get the lock box code otherwise you are locked out! 3 guest were waiting in their cars with no response from the owner. Once you check in they continue to take money out of your bank card you have given them with false claims. Once you kindly ask them to check the cameras and corfect them they stop responding! I have put this publicly on my Instagram and within 45 minutes I had 8 strangers say they have also done the same thing to them and stolen their money!!! Please be careful!! The owner will scam you!! The room they give you is also not the same as described on the booking! If you want to use amenities listed on the booking such as a pool etc then they charge your card again!! Absolutely appalling. I would NOT recommend this property based on the hostility we received from the property owner, Jessica. We were accused of water fights in the house which was FALSE! & my son accused of ripping a park sign off from Jessica apparently viewing this from CCTV, which I know is false because I saw him hit the sign & it was flappy on one side only . I called my son away when I saw that but she said he ripped it off completely. I believe she ripped it off when I asked for proof after she claimed she will be taking money from my account. After I asked to discuss these things over the phone, she said “there is nothing to discuss”then she proceeded to take money from my credit card, (for her apparent damages) without my permission. Jessica’s behaviour eluded me to read other reviews and we could relate to most of them. I am expecting a nasty reply will follow. To Jessica, I feel for you, in one way because it seems necessary for you to treat people with disrespect & you’re always fighting people but you can turn that around! I didn't feel like it was very clean, obvious dust on mirrors and under beds. It was very difficult carrying luggage up a spiral staircase to enter and then the next 2 levels were also a spiral staircase which were dangerous. The BBQ and tables were on the third level, so this meant you had to carry the food, utensils, plates etc. up 2 levels via a spiral staircase. The bathroom was right next to the kitchen and was easy to flood the bathroom post shower. No bathmats supplied. Location was perfect for the kids, and getting up close to the animals was a real highlight for them. Had one minor issue and property manager was very quick to help resolve it.
